Michael Brown
Equine Specialist
Michael Brown is a United States Army Veteran 11 Bravo (Infantry). He represented the Army ring bulls and broncs for the Professional Armed Forces Rodeo Association. In 2012, Michael was PAFRA Rookie of the Year; in 2014 he was the PAFRA World Champion Bull Rider; in 2014 he was the PAFRA World Champion Bareback Rider. Michael has 15+ years working with and training horses. He has worked with some of the best horse trainers and clinicians in the world using methods taught by Tom Dorrance and Ray Hunt using Natural Horsemanship.
Michael owns 3 horses himself that are used to help take care of their cattle and help out with fellow ranchers. Michael specializes in working with young, ill-mannered and horses used for all-around ranch use. He and his wife enjoy the same passion. She also works for a horse therapy program. Michael has worked on some of the largest ranches in the southwest ranging from Southern Arizona to Northern Montana. Horses and Cattle take up the majority of his time, but outside of that, he enjoys fishing and being with family!
