Danielle LaBelle Kincanon, LCSW, received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Arizona and her Master of Social Work from Arizona State University. She began her career in mental health in an outpatient agency working with kids between birth and 18 years old as a high needs case manager until the agency transitioned to working with adults and she moved into supervising case managers for kids and adults.
She transitioned to working in an inpatient psychiatric hospital during the course of completing her Masters and also completed an internship in another outpatient agency working with kids and providing individual and group therapy. During her inpatient career she worked with both teens and adults struggling with addiction, depression, and other mental health disorders.
Danielle began working for Sierra Tucson in July 2023 as a Specialty Therapist working largely with meeting new residents early in their stays to assess and assist them in transitioning into Sierra Tucson. She has since attained training and credentialing in Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) and also meets with residents one on one to address mental health concerns impacted by chronic pain. Additionally, she provides supervision for Social Work interns at Sierra Tucson.
Outside of work, Danielle enjoys engaging in all things nerdy (Harry Potter, DnD, MtG, Marvel, Star Wars, Studio Ghibli, etc) with her husband. She is looking forward to welcoming her first child in March 2025 and she loves to spend time with her friends and family.
